Birjas has been suspended from IKEqC Competition for AS LII.
After review of comments presented at Gulf Wars and privately to the
IKEqC Council, it has became clear there was a more than a fair bit of
confusion on how Birjas should be played. Rather than keep a game
that is not well understood it has been decided to suspend the game
Birjas (both one and two handed variations) from IKEqC competition for
the AS LII year. We owe it to the extensive research effort of
Viscountess Kassandra Tenebrosa to do our best to get it right.
During this time, we encourage local groups to continue to experiment
with this game and report on their experiences to the IKEqC Council.
This will be of great assistance in our quest to bring this game to
the IKEqC. If your feedback is negative we also need that to consider
if we should retire this game permanently.
The IKEqC Council invites any interested party to submit reports,
proposals, compliments, or complaints about this game, any of the
other games, the regulations, or website. Please address all missives
to “ikeqc (at) scaikeqc (dot) org” and they will be received and read
by the IKEqC Council. While the IKEqC Council may not be able to
answer all missives, I promise every one will be read by the IKEqC
Council at the next meeting.
Sandor Dosa for the IKEqC Council.
